ILEC participated in the ILBM Heartware Expert Group Meeting organized by the Research Center for Sustainability and Environment, Shiga University, Japan in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The meeting, mainly attended by experts from Nepal, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia and Japan who presented their regional cases under the six governance pillars of ILBM, was also a regional promotional opportunity of WLC16. On this occasion, the delegates also participated in field visits around Mekong River Basin and Lake Tonle Sap, the biggest lake in South East Asia (February 13-16, 2016).
