The JICA Knowledge Co-Creation Program training course “Integrated Lake, River, and Coastal Basin Management for Sustainable Use and Preservation of Water Resources” started on September 1st.
In the fiscal year 2022, Part 1 (September 1-22) will be conducted remotely, and Part 2 (January 10-31, 2023) in person for the first time in three years.
The total number of participants is 11, including one from each of the following nine countries: Albania, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Cote d’Ivoire, Nicaragua, Nigeria, the Philippines, Bolivia, and Botswana, and two observers from Nicaragua.
During the remote training, classroom training will be carried out intensively, while the practical training in Japan, will focus on hands-on training, including observation of water treatment facilities and fishery, and water quality monitoring.
