At ILEC, we are engaged in a study tour as part of the JICA Grassroots Technical Cooperation Project, titled ‘Support for the Proper Conservation of Ha Long Bay and Cat Ba Island Coastal Waters Utilizing the Lake Biwa Model,’ conducted by the Shiga Prefectural Office of Commerce and Industry Policies Division from July 23rd to 29th, 2023.
We will conduct lectures on “Lake Biwa Conservation Strategies” and “The Essence of the Lake Biwa Model” for the six participants from local Vietnamese government agencies (Hai Phong City and Quang Ninh Province) and organize field trips to inspect environmental facilities and the surrounding lake areas.
