The training course, commissioned by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), was conducted from August 18th to October 18th, 2019. The objective of the course was to support capacity building efforts in developing countries. Nine participants composed of government officials, researchers and so on from Bangladesh (2), Brazil (2), Indonesia (1), Myanmar (2), Panama (1), and Republic of North Macedonia (1) attended the training.

This year, we added lectures and exchange meeting with graduate students at the University of Shiga Prefecture, exchange meeting with Shiga Prefectural officials, visit to Mikata Five Lakes in Fukui and so on.
