Opening Ceremony

 

Governor Yukiko Kada of Shiga Prefecture, Japan presented ”Lessons from Lake Biwa”.

She also commemorated the late Dr. Tatsuo Kira, who was the one of the founding mambers of ILEC and deceased on July 19th, 2011.

Technical Sessions

ILEC Scientific Committe Chair Dr. Masahisa Nakamura chaired the ILBM Session and introduced the latest publication of ILEC, “Development of ILBM Platform Process”

Poster Session

From Shiga Prefecture, Japan the local NGO working group presented on their “Kabata” spring water culture of the Harie District in Talkashima City, Shiga Prefecture.

Banquet

The Seventh Ibaraki Kasumigaura Price Winners from Pakistan and Philippines were awarded for their outstanding work in front of the conference participants.
