ILEC is seeking expressions of interest to host the upcoming WLC in 2029.
The proposal submission process consists of two main steps：
- The applicant needs to submit a Letter of Intent (LoI) via this form
- The successful applicants will be invited to submit a formal proposal
- The deadline to submit the LoI to host WLC22 in 2027 is 25 December 2026.
- ILEC will review the LoI on a rolling basis and will request that eligible applicants submit a formal proposal.
- The deadline to submit the formal proposal to host WLC22 in 2029 is 31 January 2027.
- The submitted formal proposals will be evaluated accordingly, and a decision notice will be announced by the end of March 2027. The selected host location will subsequently be announced on the ILEC website.
- As a general rule, the submitted LoIs, formal proposals, and other application documents, as well as the details of the evaluation process, will not be made public.
