Ramsar 13th Conference of Contracting Parties (COP-13) was held during 21st – 29th October 2018 in Dubai, UAE. At this conference, ILEC organized a side event on 26th with the theme “Harmonious Co-existence of Human and Wetlands – Towards Sustainable Ecosystem Services – Report from WLC17”. We thank Dr. Ajit Kumar Pattnaik, a member of Scientific Committee of ILEC, and Ms. Reiko Nakamura, a Trustee of ILEC, for working as an organizer and panelist, respectively. The side event was well received by the participants of the COP-13 and more than 45 participated in the side event from different parts of the globe. The attached is the report of the event by Dr. Pattnaik.
