The Lake Balaton Development Coordination Agency and ILEC are pleased to announce that the 19th World Lake Conference (WLC19) to be held on the shores of Lake Balaton, Hungary, has been set for November 7 to 9, 2023.

At WLC19, presentations and discussions will be held on a variety of themes to find a balance between the objectives of lake conservation and the economic and natural use of lakes for sustainable lake management.

This will be the second time in 35 years, since 1988, that the conference will be held on the shores of Lake Balaton in Hungary, the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe. We sincerely look forward to your participation. WLC19 official site is here
